As you reach the top of the Perdido Pass Bridge you will see the beautiful turquoise waters of Florida point and the many fellow beach goers who have found their perfect spot in the sand.  There you can pick your own spot amongst 6,000 feet of white sandy beaches.  Parking is free and guests can enjoy amenities like boardwalks, picnic areas, restrooms, and outdoor showers.  To find a more secluded place to catch some sun, you may have to take a bit of a longer walk across the dunes so pack lightly to enjoy your day of relaxation.

If you want to hang out with beach bar hoppers and good time seekers, then you have come to the right place.  This is a hot spot during the summer so come early for a prime parking spot.  The public beach is located right where 59 dead ends into the gulf.  The beach offers attendants, open air pavilions, restrooms, and showers.  Pay by the hour parking meters are available.  As the site of the Hangout Music Festival, this is definitely a hot spot.

The world-famous Blue Angels are based at NAS Pensacola, and can be seen practicing over the Museum most Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from March to November. Practices typically begin at 11:30 a.m.(Central Time), and last about an hour. Admission to practice is FREE and open to the public.* The outside viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located on the Museum Flight Line north of the Museum. Signs are posted to direct visitors to viewing and parking locations, including limited parking for handicapped visitors. Bleachers are available for seating 1,000 people. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs. We also suggest that visitors bring hats and sunscreen. Hearing protection is recommended for those people with sensitive hearing. Please note that backpacks, daypacks, luggage, or similar items are NOT allowed on the flight line during Blue Angel practice air shows. Small purses, bags containing medications, and diaper bags are allowed, but are subject to search by Naval Air Station Pensacola Security personnel.

This 6000 sq ft home began in 1882 as a simple four-room structure in the bend of the Bon Secour River. In 1898, Charles & Susan Swift bought the house and brought their growing family here to begin a sawmill and lumber business that continues in south Alabama to this day. They built a sawmill on the river east of the house, and although it burned in 1913, their business continued to expand. Preceded by another fort, Fort Bowyer during the War of 1812, Fort Morgan is a Third System masonry fort built between 1819 and 1833. Standing guard where the bay meets the Gulf of Mexico, the fort played a significant role in the Battle of Mobile Bay in August 1864. Used intermittently through the Spanish American War, World War I and World War II, the site showcases the evolution of seacoast fortifications and adaptations made by the U.S. Army for the defense of the country. In 1946 the site was turned over to the State of Alabama as a historic site. The grounds offer more than just history, the site also has nature areas, a boat launch, picnic area, and beaches for visitors to enjoy.
